Similar to oral tradition, objects of adornment carry tactile, tangible histories that are otherwise transient. Inspired by this soft and profound communication of jewelry through time, Basha Harris creates work that focuses on the reflective relationship of the wearer to the object. 

Basha received her BFA in Jewelry & Metalsmithing from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She is a founder [and resident artist] of Yours Truly Community Studio, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
